Is PathReady a fit for your workflow?
Review troublesome names and paths, prepare a separate verified copy, and keep an exact record of what changed before your Microsoft 365 handoff.
What you get with PathReady
A closer look at the capabilities and how they fit into your workflow.
| Capability | How it helps |
|---|---|
| A preparation tool, with a clear boundary. | Built for Microsoft 365 archive handoffs. No tenant login, cloud upload or promise of universal upload acceptance. |
| A real evaluation, not a timed demo. | Use the actual review and verification workflow. Smaller preparations remain available without a timed expiry or payment card. |
| Useful across client and team handoffs. | For consultants, IT administrators and coordinators who need a reviewable archive and documentation another person can use. |
| One purchase for an occasional job. | Keep the purchased version, with released updates within the same major version. No subscription or recurring activation connection. |
Before you choose
Check the system requirements and the full feature list. If your current process already meets your needs, use these capabilities to decide whether the change is worthwhile.
Does PathReady upload my files to Microsoft 365?
No. It prepares a separate local copy for your chosen handoff or upload process. You perform the migration or upload separately. PathReady is an independent EnlightPixel product, not a Microsoft product, endorsement or certification.
Does it change my original files?
The workflow reads the source and creates a separate prepared copy. Reviewed names apply to that copy. Use an archive that is not actively changing; this is not a backup or volume snapshot.
Can I try it with real files before buying?
Yes. Scanning, planning, destination comparison and plan exports are free. Prepare up to 100 included files AND 100 MiB of primary content per operation using the actual copy-and-verification engine. Both limits apply independently, with no timed expiry.
What does the paid license unlock?
Larger preparations within the documented app limits. It does not remove supported-filesystem, inventory-capacity or safety limits. Both editions support up to 100,000 inventoried entries, including folders, and up to 256 directory levels.
Is PathReady a subscription?
No. The base offer is $49 USD once, with a perpetual license to the purchased version. Released updates within that major version are included. Applicable taxes and the final amount appear at checkout. The license permits personal and commercial workflows on personal devices you own; it is not a team or site license.
Does it need an internet connection?
Local file work does not need a tenant connection. Activate online once with your EnlightPixel dashboard key, or use your installation ID and current challenge to obtain a permanent certificate from the dashboard on a connected computer. After successful activation, checks are local with no recurring internet check. Changing Windows accounts or losing local activation state may require reactivation.
Which systems and folders are supported?
Version 1.0.0 requires Windows 11 (build 22000 or later), x64, and fixed local NTFS source and staging folders. Windows ARM, Windows 10, macOS and Linux are not supported. No separate .NET installation is needed. Allow space for copied content, named streams, temporary work and reports.
Can I use a network share or online-only OneDrive folder?
Not directly. Export the archive to an ordinary supported local NTFS folder first. Network and mapped drives, UNC shares, links and junctions, EFS-encrypted files, offline files and cloud placeholders are unsupported. Resolve unsupported entries or explicitly exclude them.
Does verified mean Microsoft 365 will accept the upload?
No. Verification records copied file-content checks for the local operation. Tenant permissions, restrictions, document links and actual upload acceptance need separate review. PathReady does not rewrite links or document contents, certify compliance or guarantee preservation of every filesystem attribute in the cloud.
Why can one folder change affect many paths?
Every descendant includes its parent folders in its path. Shortening one parent can reduce many descendant paths. The component-change report lists actual name edits separately from the full affected-path map. A shorter destination is another option to compare before renaming.
Can I check the prepared files later?
Yes. Reopen the saved project and use Recheck prepared file hashes. It checks output against the saved receipt without rereading the originals and reports changed, extra or missing entries. Keep the receipt as a trusted baseline; a recheck does not authenticate a modified receipt.
What if preparation is cancelled or interrupted?
Partial output is retained and verified outcomes are distinguished from unfinished work. Resolve the issue, rescan and start a fresh preparation. PathReady does not silently resume or merge an interrupted operation.
Can I get a refund?
Request a full refund within 14 days of purchase, for any reason. Giving a reason is optional.
